Maya turned four this year and her wish was to have a fairy princess cake. Her parents were at odds with trying to conceptualise what this would look like. This creation was instructed through a group of firends who wanted to get their friend Jessica something in addition to the usual house warming gifts. They wanted to capture Jessica's vibrant personality and her love of all things psychadelic. The groovy colours and altogether "bubble-gum" look to the cake was something that her friends were very keen to have on the cake. I think the results here are stunning !Sunita's Baby Shower

One phrase describes this creation - "Simplicity and Elegance". Arun and Reshma were adamant that they wanted their wedding cake to be the centre piece of their wedding reception and something spectacular but not overstated would suffice. Their wedding cake really took shape over a number of consultations as they were undecided as to whether they wanted something large or modest. In the end, the number of guest they had invited to their reception dictated the size. Reshma and Arun were both very happy with the end result as too were the guests, and their cake really set the foundation for the duration of their event......simple but elegant.
Ashley and Kimberly's Wedding
Ashley and Kimberly are both close friends of mine and when they announced that they were finally going to tie the knot, it came as quite a pleasure to make their wedding cake. They started with wanting quite unusual designs that were contemporary but at the same time traditional. After a number of consultations they both decided that their wedding cake should follow the theme of their wedding and have a connection with Lily's. A design that would be contemporary and floral.
My interest in cake making and decorating begun 10 years ago. Like many people, I'd go to cake exhibitions and view cake decorating as many regard going to a show, you want to be entertained ! I never actually sat there and thought
